The humanity is interesting, and it always hopes everything is faultless. Hence, people excessively emphasize their appearance even abilities and emotion for attempting to cover up defects. They are not willing to be hated with little defect by others.
People are not perfect natively, in other words, everyone has weakness. Perhaps, these shortcomings will usually cause the inconvenience even hurt to other people. But, if we face to our weak points with aggressive attitude, each weakness is an advantage, too.
There is an old saying that goes, “Failure is the mother of success”. That means failure is not just a weakness but a method of success. Hence, we can take the story “The Missing Piece meets the big O” for example, the Missing Piece has a defect of the sharp sector, but he did not become worse even find a better way to change himself. To sum up, defect is not certainly all like bad things, and it is just a process to make someone more and more consummate. Therefore, don’t escape even conceal it painstakingly!

I guess the story is not telling people no to fall in love with some one or be single whole life. Fall in love with someone is a wonderful thing. If one day you break up with your lover, you must be able to live alone. I hope Asuka always happy, no matter alone or two.
We read the book together in class. I think the book ”Missing piece “ we can explain it in different view. And now there’s one of the idea of this book:
To collage students, possibly all have one or two experience of love. And someone would be frustrated by the relationship. It is not as easy as staying with friend or family. I guess the story is not telling people no to fall in love with some one or be single whole life. Fall in love with someone is a wonderful thing. But if one day you break up with your darling, you must be able to live alone.
I hope Asuka always happy, no matter alone or two. To be love, you must love yourself first.
